Description
My Thoughts:
Moe and Peanut are roommates but their ideas of fun are quite different. Peanut says not enough puddles but Moe
feels like there is too much splashing.
Moe is one for quiet and a little order to his life. Peanut is for whatever makes him happy, which can be music, having too many toys out or preparing too much food.
Even though this is an upbeat book regarding differences, Moe finally reaches his breaking point. He heads outside to enjoy the stars and some peace and quiet. (A great example of handling unhappiness.)
Will this odd couple ever see eye to eye on what is fun?
What Concerned Me:
Perhaps a bit picky, but I really wasn’t a fan of the illustration of Moe.
What I Liked Most:
This is a cute, easy reader that little ones are sure to love. The text is simple and the message is certainly a good one.

About the Author
Once upon a time, I played with little metal cars in my rock-filled driveway. I listened to old-time mystery radio theater in my room and built yarn canopies between trees. I could never serve the volleyball in gym class but I could draw dragons that leapt off the page.
I grew up in Weymouth, Massachusetts and was the first in my family to attend a university. I received my BFA from Syracuse University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts, worked as a compositor in animation, and as an art director creating products for the scrapbooking market. Along the way I discovered my passion for writing and illustrating for children’s books. My debut as author/illustrator, SMALL, was published in 2017. It was named a Bank Street Best Children’s Book in 2018. My latest book, TOO MUCH! NOT ENOUGH! was just selected for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Canada for 2019.
Today I write and illustrate books from my New Hampshire home. I also love to stretch my illustrator wings by working on games, puzzles, stickers, etc. Surprise me with an assignment and I’ll surprise you with my work.
