My Thoughts

The best way for me to share these little books is by posting lots of pictures. For that reason you will see more than my normal amount of photos sprinkled throughout.

At the back of each box are stickers and game instructions to help promote learning. And what child doesn’t love being able to earn stickers? And what teacher or parent isn’t interested in using the easy game ideas that are provided?

I highly recommend these books. If you have a little one who is only interested in fun books, but doesn’t want to work at reading, this will slip in learning without your kiddo hardly being aware of it. Or if you have a child who is eager to read. Presto. You reach for this series. Either way, you and your child come up winners.

This learn-to-read set of books uses so many wonderful methods to teach:

  • Repetition
  • Recognition
  • Sounds
  • Picture helps
  • Games
  • Working for Reward Stickers

Two thumbs up for The Reading House!

The colors and illustrations will warm your heart even when there is snow in the picture.
