Book that teaches Creativity

What To Do . . . What To Do

So

B–O–R–I–N–G!

Poor little Ben. He is thin, pale, and most importantly BORED. No fun seems to enter his life even though people around him do their best to entertain and interest him in “fun” things.

Nope. Life is completely boring. His favorite color is gray, his favorite dish is plain pasta, and spare time is spent staring into space.

It doesn’t matter the season, this little guy is bored. In fact, he is soooooo bored he decides to proclaim himself the Supreme King of Boredom. And what happens next seems to sneak up on the bored king.

Picture Book about being bored

My Thoughts

Not a clown or a doctor can coax this little one out of his state of boredom. Only one thing seems to work. And that same reality applies to most of us.

The book works for me, especially if used as a discussion tool.

What Concerned Me

I didn’t really like the illustration of the main character, but perhaps he looked that way for a reason.

What I Liked Most

It’s a wonderful book with discussion points of

  • Creativity
  • Imagination
  • Individuality
  • Uniqueness
  • Your Power to Change You!

My thanks to Schiffer Publishing for a book and the ability to post this review.
