My Thoughts

This definitely is an emotional rollercoaster that opens lots of avenues of thought as it weaves together various elements. It is hard to continue reading at times, yet impossible to put down.

But the deeper I got into the story I started wondering if the author was attempting to cover too many topics in one book.

death of a child and husband

incest

adultery

in vitro fertilization

lies

secrets

and more

The fact that Taylor shows that there are consequences, be they positive or negative, to actions, certainly helped.

I found this to be extremely interesting, but at the same time it was painful to realize that parts of the story no doubt touch on the reality that some experience in real life.

This is a thought-provoking, exciting book. But it’s also one that is sad, where no one really comes out a winner.

So grab a cup of coffee and get ready for an intense story that will demand your attention early on.
